Campaign Signs

My completely unscientific poll based on a purely subjective impression created by the numbers of campaign signs I see in my neighbors' yards is that Clinton is ahead by a moonshot in this year's presidential race, at least in this here corner of NoVA.

Actually, I did spot a few Trump signs yesterday afternoon near where some early voting was taking place.

  1. What is the secret of putting up with such a long campaign?

    1. I think people find ways to shut it out of their lives until just days, maybe weeks, before the election, which is another reason why I don't think polls are reliable indicators this far out.

  2. Sigh, to be busy so long with a campaign for a president, I agree with Andy.

  6. Crazy. No one would do that here. You don´t talk about whom you vote for over here. It´s a secret ;-)
And I think that´s a very crazy race going on in your place.

  7. i have seen almost none here. none. saw one trump/pence sign along the highway yesterday - like someone stuck it there in the ditch because they weren't going to claim it in their yard.

  8. The problem is that literally the day after the election, pundits and political operators are already saying, "who are we looking at for 2020?" It seems like the campaign never really ends.

I look forward to the epic temper tantrum Trump has on election night. It'll be like a four year old kid just being told he has to finish his vegetables multiplied by a million.
